Collections and clearances for law firms and chambers, Cheapside shops and offices around Bank, Cannon Street and Blackfriars, with rounds planned around the Bank junction restrictions.

Working in EC4
The west of the City is legal London. Barristers’ chambers fill the Temple, and law firms line Fleet Street and Chancery Lane. Further east, Cheapside and One New Change bring shops and restaurants to the foot of St Paul’s, while Bank, Cannon Street and Blackfriars are dense with offices.
Legal practices produce a lot of paper, and every few years a lot of old furniture and files when they refit or move. Shops produce cardboard and packaging with every delivery. Offices around Bank need the usual mix of general waste, recycling and food waste. We set up the streams each type of business needs, not one size for everyone.
Bank junction is restricted to buses and cycles between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. That rules out the most direct route between Cheapside, Poultry, Cornhill and Threadneedle Street during the working day, so we plan EC4 rounds to come in from the right direction and avoid it.
Fleet Street and Ludgate Hill are busy bus routes with limited room to stop, and the Temple has its own gates and vehicle rules. Tell us where your bins are kept and how vehicles get in, and we’ll fix a time and a stopping point that work.

FAQ
It affects how we get to you, not whether we can. Bank junction is restricted to buses and cycles from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, so we route around it and plan collection times with that in mind.
Yes. We clear furniture, shelving, IT and non-confidential paper, and recycle what we can. Confidential documents should go to a secure shredding service before we clear the room. See office clearance.
Yes. Cardboard and packaging can be collected with your other recycling or on its own if you produce a lot. See recycling and WEEE.
A skip on a City street needs a licence from the City of London Corporation, and most EC4 streets have little room for one. Our wait-and-load service is usually simpler: we park, load and leave.
Areas we cover
